Tortoise & Hare Race ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our mobile application on Android devices.

The App uses Google Play Nearby Connections for local multiplayer. This involves Bluetooth and Wi-Fi scanning. We do not collect or transmit personal data through Nearby Connections — all communication is peer-to-peer and temporary.

3. Third-Party Services

Google AdMob

• Purpose: Display advertisements

• About the Advertising ID: The advertising ID is automatically assigned by Google and used for ad targeting and performance measurement. We do not link the advertising ID to your personally identifiable information.

Google Play Billing

• Purpose: Process in-app purchases

• Data collected: Purchase history, Google account info (managed by Google)
• Refunds: Refund requests for in-app purchases are handled by Google Play. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, please use the "Order History" in the Google Play app or contact Google Play support.

Firebase (Google Firebase)

• Components: Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Sessions, Installations

• Data collected: Device identifiers, app usage, crash logs, crash-free session rates (Firebase Sessions), remote configuration parameters, installation attribution data

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share anonymized, aggregated data with partners for analytics or advertising.

We may also share your information when required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.

5. Data Retention

• Purchase records — Retained as required by consumer protection and tax laws.
• Analytics & crash data — Retained for up to 14 months per Firebase data retention policies.
• Game progress stored locally — Retained until you uninstall the App or clear app data.

6. Children's Privacy

We take children's privacy very seriously. For users identified as children, we do not collect their personally identifiable information and only display non-personalized, appropriately rated advertisements.

This App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware, we will delete it as soon as possible.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security measures. However, no method is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
